STUNT COORDINATING

Ben Toyer is a highly experienced Stunt Coordinator with a strong hands-on background as a career long performer and stunt rigger in the film industry. His broad practical experience allows him to coordinate action with a clear understanding of both the creative and technical demands of a production.

Specialising in vehicle action and complex stunt and aerial rigging, vehicle action, body control, fight work, boat and jetski, dive work and fire stunts, to name a few.

With a modern approach to filming and stunt coordination, he works well with production and cast to get the best performance possible, whilst maintaining a safe and controlled outcome.

Providing stunt rigging solutions that go beyond standard setups, combining technical experience with out-of-the-box thinking to create safe, practical systems for complex action, flying effects, specialty movement, and custom on-set challenges.

With unique truss setups, custom purpose built performer fly winches and capstans, pneumatic ratchets and a huse harness and gear selection for any occasion, we are able to accomodate the wildest ideas and requests including entire feature film equipment packages.

Since grading as a stunt performer in 2009 through the MEAA, Ben has had a fulltime career performing in the film industry.

Now specialising in vehicle action and doubling roles, his skill list includes:

drifting, precision driving, car commercials, car flips and rolls, crashes, dirt and road bike, boat, jetski, abseiling/repelling, decells, ratchets, winch operation, car crashes, jerk backs, controlled aerial movement, body control, parkour and freerunning, breakfalls, gymnastics, knockdowns, wire work, pole, fights and falls, burns and fire work, wakeboarding, snowboarding, as well as being a Ninja warrior grand finalist in Aus and Japan.

Ben is one Australia's leading vehicle and crash experts, whether it be car control, sliding corners, or cars flipping through the air, his experience both driving and building ensures the stunt is completely not only safely, but to suit the desired outcome of the production.

With 18 years experience competetive driftng, and completing his first pipe ramp roll in 2008 and over 100 car rolls since, his vehicle experience on set has ranged his entire career, leaving him with a reputation for executing precise vehicle moves, car rolls and cannons with great accuracy.
